Introduction to Projects - English

A working definition of a Project might be as follows: "A series of tasks that all contribute towards a similar common goal. Projects have beginnings and ends - temporary but may vary considerably in complexity and duration." The Navgar Project module allows you to organize the work you do in project form by yourself and with others. You are able to collaborate openly with public settings as well as privately for work that requires discretion for its members.

You can create a Project easily from anywhere in the application via the internal Command Bar and manage your projects via the Project module of the Navgar application.

Besides creating Projects, you are able to:

  • Edit your Projects' names and provide descriptions for them, including outcome visioning

  • Expand and view all tasks associated with a project, including Owner and Due Date

  • Assign members to the project

  • Set the projects privacy

    • Private - Only the creator can see and edit

    • Shared - Shared with specific users, they can delete, edit title and description

    • Public - Anyone in the organization can see/view, comment, edit properties, mark complete, and delete tasks from the project

  • Audit the Project's progress via the History

  • Delete the Project
