  • 5 September 2024: Release #70

    • Key Updates and Fixes:

      • Mobile Task Descriptions: A fix has been implemented to ensure that task descriptions, especially those containing long URLs, display correctly on mobile devices. Previously, links were shown as unclickable dots, which hindered access to important information. Now, if a link exceeds the available space, it will be displayed in a truncated format like https://app.navgar.com/97… and will remain fully clickable, making it easier for users to access critical group chats and task details from their mobile devices.

      • Opening Links in the PWA: Links found in the task description field will now open directly in the Navgar PWA, ensuring seamless navigation and integration within the platform.

      • Push Notification Link Display: We’ve fixed an issue where push notifications containing hyperlinks were displaying scripting language before the link text. This issue is now resolved, and hyperlinks in reminders will appear cleanly and as expected.

      • Chat Module Video Reply Auto-Scroll: When replying to a video file in the chat module, the system previously did not auto-scroll to the bottom, which caused the reply to be hidden from view. The platform now auto-scrolls to the bottom of the chat, ensuring that replies are immediately visible.

      • Form Field Rearrangement: Users now have the ability to rearrange fields in a form, offering more flexibility when managing and evolving processes. This feature makes it easier to adjust forms as new fields are added, ensuring better organization and adaptability.

  • September 2024: Release #69

    Key Fixes:

    • Infinite Scroll Issue Resolved: We’ve removed the calculation of infinite scroll on active and archive chat lists, which means no more blank space at the end of these pages.

    • Tag Filter Updates Automatically: When deleting a tag, the filter dropdown now updates dynamically, ensuring tags that are deleted are no longer displayed.

    • Dark UI in Task Drawer Fixed: The "Assign to project" button in the task drawer now consistently displays the correct UI theme, ensuring improved readability and visual clarity.

    • Default Closed Alerts Bell: The alerts bell will now remain closed by default, providing a cleaner interface until users interact with it.

    • Hover Behavior Consistency: Cards in the Messages, Tasks, and Reminders sections now maintain their size when hovered over, addressing previous inconsistencies.

    • Mobile Task Drawer Cleanup: We’ve simplified the options in the mobile task drawer by removing duplicate buttons for adding and viewing participants.

    • Extended AI Typing Indicator: The AI typing indicator will remain visible for a longer period to ensure users are aware that responses are still being processed.

    • Flow Deletion Reliability: Users can now reliably delete flows without encountering unexplained errors. Clear error messages are also provided in cases where issues arise.

    • Inbox Filter Adjustments: We’ve fixed a bug allowing users to deselect both active and archived inbox filters, which previously resulted in no displayed results.

    • Flow Instance Task Button Fix: The task card button in flow instances now directs users to the correct tab—the flow tasks tab instead of the chat tab.

    Key Improvements:

    • Better URL Display in Chats: URLs in chats now display correctly, making it easier for users to interact with shared links.

    • Highlighted Parallel Steps in Flow Instances: Parallel steps in flow instances are now clearly highlighted in blue for better visual guidance.

    • Enhanced Mobile Flow Design: Running flows on mobile has been updated with an improved design, providing a more intuitive experience.

      • Tag Creation with Spaces
There was a bug preventing the creation of tags that included spaces in the label name. This has been addressed, and users can now create tags with spaces without any issues.

      • Tasks Module: Upcoming Button Calendar Disappearance
The calendar widget used for scheduling tasks sometimes disappeared when tasks were listed below the one being moved. This has been corrected, and the calendar widget now remains visible during task movement.

      • Running Flows Module: Task Date Button Localization Issue
Users with accounts set to Spanish encountered an issue where the task date button displayed an incorrect message. The localization has been corrected to display the proper date format.

  • 8 August 2024: Release #66

    • Overview

This release focuses on various improvements and bug fixes aimed at enhancing the user experience across multiple modules. Below are the key updates included in this release.

      Improvements

The flow launching experience has been refined with a new visual indicator. A dot will now appear when a flow is launched, making it easier to track ongoing processes. Additionally, the user interface has been enhanced to show "..." when Navgar AI is typing in chat, providing a more intuitive and responsive chat experience.

In the Flow Templates module, we've renamed the "Running" tab to "Launched" to better reflect its contents. This change aligns the tab name with the flow launch button, making the interface more intuitive for users.

      Bug Fixes

Several bugs have been addressed in this release to improve workflow continuity and user interface consistency. One significant fix ensures that completing a step within a subflow no longer disrupts the workflow by incorrectly transitioning the user to the main flow. Users will now remain within the subflow, allowing for seamless workflow continuation.

In the Flows Module, we've fixed an issue where flow templates would not scroll to the bottom of the list on mobile devices, ensuring that all templates are accessible. Additionally, a bug causing metric card values in the performance tab to be slightly offset has been corrected, ensuring visual alignment with design specifications.

We've also resolved a problem where the NavgarAI help button in the Messages Module was not populating the chat input field correctly. This fix ensures that users can now interact with NavgarAI as intended.

      Other bugs addressed include:

      • The task input area in new flow creation no longer disappears under the flow, improving the usability of task management.

      • The issue where standalone email tasks appeared parallel in flow instances has been fixed, clarifying task relationships in the interface.

      • A bug causing a white screen when email tasks are triggered has been resolved, ensuring a smoother user experience.

      • The submit button location inconsistency when scheduling flows has been corrected, providing a consistent interface for scheduling tasks.

  • 24 July 2024: Release #64

    • New Features and Improvements

In terms of visual improvements, colors and labels for "overdue," "flow delay," and "task delay" have been aligned to provide clearer visual cues. The Alerts Dashboard has also received a visual polish, enhancing the overall user experience.

      Minor Updates

Adjustments have been made to the increase/decrease runtime data, improving performance monitoring.

This update is focused on enhancing usability and resolving key issues to ensure a smoother experience for all users. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we look forward to hearing your thoughts on these improvements.

Simply hover over the task in the default task view for the option, select the date for the task to disappear until...and voilà. You may also snooze a task from the 'triple dot' menu within the task's chat

    • New Tasks Badge: As part of a bigger effort to keep you up to date on what is new and what is actionable, we've introduced the green 'New Tasks Badge' you will now notice when new tasks from Flows or Assigned by others hit your task list.

  • 18 September 2023 (Release 21): Chat

      • You can @ mention individuals in a chat or @members to create a chat notification

      • We now offer emojis so you can express yourselves in ways words simply can’t.

      • Uploading and previewing MP4 files in chat is now supported

  • 4 August 2023 - (Release 19): Various Bug Fixes and Improvements

    • Improvement: You can now view the variables used in an email within a Running Flow. You should be able to see them (1) When you expand the Flow task that contains the body of the email, and (2) Within the Flow history. It's retroactive so older emails should now display as well.

    • Fixed: Public Projects only allowed you to assign contained Tasks to listed Project members. If it’s Public, you can now assign to anyone

    • Fixed: In-app mention notifications (red dot) not displaying properly when multiple items in list

    • Fixed: Task chats appearing in Active Messages tab when no other users have commented

    • Fixed: Projects History Drawer does not have an "X" to close the window

  • 31 July 2023 - (Release 18): Various Bug Fixes and New Features

    • Flow Group Improvement: Previously, when you created a new Flow, you were restricted to associating it with an existing Flow Group. The workaround was to either (1) Leave the Flow in a “No Group” state until you completed building your flow and then create a new Flow Group, or (2) Abandon building your Flow until you had created the Group and then add it. Now, you are able to create a new Flow Group while building your Flow. If your Flow does not belong within your organization’s Flow Group list, simply type your desired new Flow Group name. You will receive a prompt to “Click to create the group (name here)”

    • For Navgar Admins: Your organization’s account users should now appear in alphabetical order

    • Message deletion: Navgar chat now allows everyone to delete your own messages and Admins can now delete any messages posted by anyone. Just hover on the top right corner of the message. The message should expand to include a trash icon for you to click and remove the message.

    • Fixed: Flow Progress dial reflected inaccurate information when Flow has been canceled

    • Fixed: There was a brief issue with hotkeys not working in the Flows Module Command bar. This has been remedied.

    • Fixed: Message Notifications will not disappear after you have read all new Messages

  • 18 July 2023 - (Release 16): Various Bug Fixes

    • This release was dedicated to bug fixes and minor improvements to improve user experience. Among them:

      • Fixed: Tasks - When in the task drawer, you cannot reassign a Task or Add to a Project if you are a participant but not the creator.

      • Fixed: Notifications - On occasion we see mismatched Chrome notifications from what was actually taking place

      • Fixed: Flow Templates - After creating or editing, we saw some changes failing to save text, leaving placeholder tasks without names or descriptions. While this issue has been fixed, this can still occur if you are editing the flow in multiple tabs. For this reason we strongly recommend you only edit templates in a single view.

      • Fixed: Flow Templates - When attempting to drag and drop a flow template into an existing empty group, the group does not highlight upon mouse over

      • Fixed: Flow Templates - When creating or editing, changing the description field of a Task reverts the field to its previous state if you click the stopwatch icon and assign a time to the Task.

  • 11 July 2023 - (Release 15): Various Bug Fixes

    • This release was dedicated to bug fixes and minor improvements to improve user experience. Among them:

      • Loading issues when switching items in chat inbox caused a lot of on-screen flashes

      • Editing/changing a Project’s name not updating until manual page refresh. Generally speaking you should find yourself needing to refresh the application far less frequently than in the past

      • The “Send” button was not functioning correctly. This should now be working as intended
